• Land was acquired for setting up an Electric Arc furnace for steel ingot manufacturing

Trial Production
• Commencement of trials, followed by temporary termination of production due to non recovery of costs

Production
• Production of ingots commenced after 2 years

Steel Rolling Mill
• The first Steel Rolling Mill was established
1995
Induction Furnace
• The Electric Furnace was replaced with two induction furnaces
1999
Ferro Alloy
• Two Ferro Alloy Furnaces were commissioned

Induction Furnace
• Third Induction Furnace was added

Ferro Alloy
• Third Ferro Alloy furnace was established

Diversification
• The Backward integration was planned through setting up of Sponge Iron Kilns & CPP in Steel Unit
• The Rolling Mill was scrapped due to non viability

Additions
• Our first 100 TPD sponge kiln was established

Sponge Kiln
• A Second 100TPD Sponge Iron Kiln was commissioned

Ferro Alloy
• Fourth Ferro Alloy furnace was commissioned

Multiple Additions
• A Third sponge kiln of 100 TPD added
• Captive power plant (WHRB) was commissioned

CCM
• CCM was established
• MS Billets production started

LC & MC Ferro Alloy
• CLU Converter established

Major Expansion Planned
• Sponge iron plant capacity to be increased from 99,000 MT to 4,05,000 MT P.A.
